Our Mission

Mission Statement:

The Take a Kid Fishing Rodeo is a non-profit endeavor organized by the Friends of Rodnreel, Inc. to encourage  participation by young people in recreational fishing. We believe that recreational fishing teaches many valuable lessons, among which are conservation, respect for the environment, and respect for others through sportsmanship.  It is also the goal of the rodeo to develop the sense of charity within the community by donating the  proceeds of the rodeo to a worthy children's charity.
